The importance of having a healthy horse:  

Treating problems after they happen is much more difficult for owners and horses than prevention and monitoring any symptoms that the horse may suffer from. A good amount of exercise, proper shelter, regular grooming, diet, and nutrition are all important key factors that horse owners should take very good care of two to maintain a happy and healthy horse. A consistent and balanced everyday routine will help keep your horse's illness free and ensure a happier, longer life for the horses. Owning a horse has its moral responsibility, ensuring you are able to provide your horse with the best possible care and maintain its overall health. If you use your horse for any type of sport like show jumping, endurance, and polo, the health of a horse has a direct impact on its performance. A healthy horse is more likely to perform better in its assigned tasks compared to a sick or tired horse. An unhealthy or injured horse may harm itself and the rider. Maintaining your horse's health and training the horses can help minimize the chances of an accident or injury.
